A uniform mortuary "laissez-passer"

In a world where we travel widely for both work and leisure, loss of life away from home can be a sad reality and families can find themselves not only having to deal with their grief, but tackling a mountain of paperwork. The 1973 Agreement on the Transfer of Corpses, still in active use today, helps to smooth the formalities for transporting bodies, setting out the standards for coffins and for protocols in case of infectious disease.
