Prague Spring

The Prague Spring was a period of political liberalisation and mass protest against a Communist state in Czechoslovakia after the Second World War. It began in January and lasted until August 1968, when the Soviet Union and other members of the Warsaw Pact invaded the country to suppress the reforms.
