Civil society representation boosted

The Council of Europe recognises that activists and international Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) are an essential part of democracy. Since 2003 they have played an active role in our work as part of the Conference of INGOs, which meets twice yearly at the Strasbourg headquarters.
