Tackling terrorism financing

Terrorists rely on financing to fund their actions, with money coming not only from crime and money-laundering but also from legitimate activities. This Convention – an update of an earlier 1990 text - aims to disrupt the flow of money to murderers and extremists by setting up ways that governments can quickly access information on assets held by criminal organisations, including terrorist groups.
