Committee of Ministers Presidency: Georgia succeeds France

The Presidency of the Committee of Ministers passed from France to Georgia at a meeting in Strasbourg. France’s Secretary of State in charge of European Affairs, Amélie de Montchalin, handed a symbolic key to her Georgian counterpart, Minister for Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani. Georgia will hold the Presidency until May 2020, when Germany will take over.
