Eurimages: fostering European film production for 30 years

The Council of Europe’s cultural support fund has a distinguished track record of backing prize-winning films and documentaries. During its three decades of existence, Eurimages-funded films have won top prizes at all of the world’s leading festivals (in Hollywood, Cannes, Venice, Berlin etc). It has 11 productions selected by the jury at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, which will announce the prize winners in a ceremony on 25 May.

Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe. Established in 1989, it includes 38 of the 47 member states of the Strasbourg-based organisation, plus Canada as an Associate member.
