European Youth Centre Budapest marks 70th anniversary

The Council of Europe’s 70th anniversary has been celebrated in Budapest by a special event at the European Youth Centre. Keynote speakers included former Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs János Martonyi and Council of Europe Director General for Democracy Snežana Samardžić-Marković.

The Budapest Youth Centre will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, while host country Hungary will mark three decades of Council of Europe membership on 6 November 2020.
