Joint Council on Youth marks 70th anniversary

The Joint Council on Youth, the co-managed decision-making body of the Council of Europe’s youth sector,  marked the organisation’s 70th anniversary during its recent meeting at the European Youth Centre in Budapest. As part of the celebrations, the members gathered together outside the building to form the number 70.

The Council of Europe youth sector has been co-managed since 1972, giving youth organisations and member states an equal say in decision making. The European Youth Centre Budapest will mark its twenty-fifth anniversary at the end of next year.
